Property: Delta raises R474m on JSE

DELTA International, the property holding company with a primary listing on the Stock Exchange of Mauritius and secondary listing on the JSE AltX, has raised about R474 million through the private placement of 26.35 million new ordinary shares with investors. The shares were placed at R18 a share and were untraded yesterday after closing at R19 on Wednesday. The private placement opened on Wednesday and closed yesterday. The proceeds of the placement will be used to fund the acquisition of the Vodacom Building and Zimpeto Square in Maputo. – Roy Cokayne
