EGYPT’S tourism industry, battered by three years of political upheaval and street protests, could fully recover by the end of next year if current levels of stability persisted, the tourism minister said on Sunday. Hisham Zaazou also told Reuters in an interview that the number of tourists could rise by up to 10 percent this year. However, Zaazou said he was concerned tourism would take another hit if militants belonging to Islamic State, who have seized parts of Iraq and Syria, showed any signs of infiltrating Egypt, the biggest Arab country. – Reuters
