Hong Kong - Hong Kong stocks closed 1.43 percent higher on Monday following better than expected economic data from both China and the United States.
The benchmark Hang Seng Index ended up 325.46 points at 23,069.85 on turnover of HK$52.79 billion ($6.81 billion).
Chinese shares closed up slightly, rising 0.16 percent or 3.34 points to 2,109.47 on turnover of 59.9 billion yuan ($9.8 billion). - Sapa-AFP
