Impala Platinum: Ndlala to head Rustenburg

Impala Platinum (Implats) had appointed Nelson Ndlala as executive head for its Rustenburg operations, the company said on Friday. Ndlala, who will report directly to Terence Goodlace, Implats’ chief executive, will be responsible for leading the company’s Rustenburg operations. A mining engineer, Ndlala joined the company in 2005 and has experience in the gold and platinum mining sector. He would be on the executive committee and represent the firm on a number of its operational boards, it said. Its share was up 1.22 percent at R132.50 on Friday. – Dineo Faku
