JUNK Mail Classifieds’ Durban and Cape Town editions were set to be published solely in a digital platform format, it said yesterday. Junk Mail Publishing would print its last edition of Cape Ads and its Durban print edition on March 12 and would continue its print operation in Gauteng for the foreseeable future, the company said. Junk Mail has seen an increase in online classified advertising since 2009. Managing director and co-owner Felix Erken said: “It’s time for us to evolve with our growing customer base and continue to invest in our digital offering in these regions. Our digital platforms are strongly positioned and we lead in the niche classified market segment,” Erken added. – Nompumelelo Magwaza
