Power alert: Cold weather bad for Eskom

ESKOM is hoping that incessant electricity cuts would soon be a thing of the past but has warned that the falling temperatures could leave the system vulnerable. The SA Weather Services predicted a drop in temperatures in the next few days as winter sets in. Eskom said while it planned no load shedding for today as it had enough generating capacity the system could be constrained in the evening. – Staff Reporter
