GET out there and cycle, skate or walk to this weekend’s Cool as Folk event. This Saturday’s happening at The Side Show, 11 Mechau Street, at 7.30pm will see all proceeds go towards Greenpop's tree planting projects to get SA greener and cleaner.

Jeremy Loops and Toya Delazy headline along with cool bands, DJs and fun stuff.

Proceedings start with cyclists arriving at Church Square at 6.30pm and breakdancers on the square at 6.45pm. The Main Stage at Side Show kicks off at 8pm with Early Hours, followed by Paige Mac at 8.50pm, Grassy Spark at 9.45pm, DeLazy at 10.45, Loops at 11.45pm, Maoriginal at 12.45am and Jews for Techno at 1.45am.

The Houdt Silent Disco Stage features a live set by The Royal Commoners at 7.30pm, and Dear Mrs Panda, Legoloop, Lemonella and Wild Lettuce.

For those wishing to cycle, skate or walk meet up at Church Square, corner of Spin and Parliament Street (GPS: -33.925275, 18.421261) at 6.30pm for a fun moving event on the way to the show. Bring your bikes, skateboards or feet to join in.
