HANOVER Park residents and police are searching for 6-year-old Shasha-Lee November, who was last seen on Sunday afternoon.

The little girl was seen playing in Groenel Walk. She was wearing white shorts, a white T-shirt and green slippers.

“The child was last seen playing with friends about a block away from her house. More than 400 flyers about the missing child were distributed in the community.

“Police with the search party continue the search and a Joint Operation Centre has been established at Philippi SAPS,” police spokesperson Tembinkosi Kinana said last night.

Hanover Park-Philippi Community Policing Forum secretary Weldon Cameron said the girl’s family was “desperately crying” for their daughter as police had no definite leads.
