PREMIER blues music festival, Table Mountain Blues Summit, returns to Hillcrest Quarry in Durbanville on December 6 and 7. The event will feature 20 top blues rock artists. This year the Blues Summit rocks on a Saturday and a Sunday.

Organizer Richard Pryor says: “Ain’t the blues just too good on a Sunday? We moved the Friday night to a Sunday so that it is easier to bring your whole family for an awesome day out.”

The line up on December is Sven Blumer at 1pm, followed by Charlie King, Parlor Vinyls, Basson Loubscher & the Violent Free Piece, Crimson House, Natasha Meister Band, Gerald Clark & the Deadmen, Dave Ferguson and Mean Black Mamba, Pebbleman, Albert Frost Trio and The Fake Leather Blues Band.

Riaan and Nick kick off the December 7 gig at 10am, followed by The Wayne Pauli Trio, Piet Botha and Akkedis, Ann Jangle, The Blues Broers, Boulevard Blues & Nhoza Sitsholwana, a Fender guitar giveaway, Dan Patlansky and at 5.30pm Patrick Canovi's’ Kiss the Sky.

To take part in The Fender Your Most Blues Face Selfie competition, which ends today, take a selfie of yourself having the blues and stand a chance to win a Fender guitar and R500 cash. Send your name, contact details and selfie to info@blues fest.co.za or post your pic at www.facebook.com/Blues Summit and share the poster on your FB timeline.
