A LOCAL NGO has appealed to the public to assist in identifying a 4-year-old boy found at the Plumstead cemetery after a funeral at the weekend.
Philisa Abafazi Bethu (PAB) director Lucinda Evans said the boy was found by a passer-by, who took him to Diep River police station on Saturday.
Evans said the boy was distressed when police brought him to PAB, which provides a place of safety for women and children who are victims of sexual and domestic violence.
“We decided to post a picture of him on a Facebook page,” said Evans.
