JAILED widow Thandi Maqubela plans on fighting a court order that has in effect frozen her multimillion-rand share of the estate of her slain husband.
National Prosecuting Authority spokesman Nathi Mncube confirmed yesterday that Maqubela had filed a notice of intention to oppose the confirmation of a provisional restraint order. The matter is expected back in court on August 26.
Maqubela was found guilty of the murder of her husband Patrick Maqubela, an acting judge.
She is behind bars awaiting the start of sentencing procedures.
