News title makes Africa a top priority

INDEPENDENT MEDIA on Friday launched the print edition of its African multimedia publication, African Independent, a new-generation media offering that seeks to change the narrative on the African continent.

The weekly newspaper, which will be produced in South Africa and sold on the continent every Friday, is part of a fully integrated multimedia platform implementing Independent Media’s “digital first and print best” philosophy.

African Independent is the latest in a series of product launches from Independent Media, as the group repositions as the leading provider of news and in-depth analysis in print and digital platforms across the African continent.
