Murder-accused Paralympian Oscar Pistorius was served with a new indictment yesterday which includes two additional charges, the National Prosecuting Authority said.
“The two counts that have been added relate to contraventions of some sections of the Firearms Control Act,” said spokesman Nathi Mncube.
“Mr Pistorius was made aware of the new challenge today. I am not prepared to comment on the nature of the charges.”
Pistorius was charged with murder after he shot dead his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp in his Pretoria home on February 14.
