To Quote Myself

by Khaya Dlanga (Pan Macmillan, R250)

I am an avid follower of Khaya Dlanga on Instagram and Twitter.

He is able to tell a story in 140 characters, as well as in a single photograph.

Dlanga has established himself in social media, using it to get people talking.

Whether it’s the outrageous fashion on display at the J&B Met or the abject poverty and beauty of his home province - the Eastern Cape - he gets his audience thinking and engaged.

To Quote Myself is a memoir that shares his childhood in rural Transkei, his education and his political views.

Dlanga overcame homelessness to become one of the most influential marketers in South Africa.

This is his story.
