Cross stitch books generally offer a generous number of designs and patterns as well as pictures of the finished articles showing how the designs can be applied.

This delightful little book is quite different: it contains only cross stitch design charts and leaves their application entirely to your imagination. Not a bad idea at all because it means you get value for your money. It also doesn’t limit the application of a particular design because we all visualise things differently.

The book contains a whopping 92 charts of designs which can be used to embellish towels, sheets, pillowcases and even greeting cards and gift tags. Designs vary from bold geometric patterns with strong colours to soft roses, lavenders and lovely garlands. One can also take elements from different charts and create a personalised design according to one’s needs.

If cross stitch is your hobby you will appreciate this book.
