Missy Elliott has confessed she feels “humbled” by the reaction to her first new music video in seven years, 'WTF (Where They From)'.
The 'Get Ur Freak On' hitmaker unveiled her first new music video in seven years for her first new song since 2012, 'WTF (Where They From)' and has confessed she's thrilled with the response she's received from fans and critics alike.
She wrote on Twitter: “Thank yall for so much love I'm humbled. now u can cop #WTF now on @AppleMusic!! #WTFMissy (sic).”

The 44-year-old star took the opportunity to urge other artists to keep working on new material.

Missy also thanked everyone involved in the release of the video - which features puppet versions of both her and her collaborator Pharrell Williams - for their help.

Earlier this week the 'Pass That Dutch' rapper teased the release of both the song and the video.
