Angelina Jolie, 39, felt “hurt” by Golden Globes snub.

The actress felt “upset” on Sunday evening as she missed the prestigious awards ceremony in Los Angeles, still reeling over Unbroken’s exclusion from the list of nominations.

A source revealed: “Angelina’s hurt. She’s been upset that the film was overlooked.”

The film, directed by the star, tells the story of Olympic athlete Louis “Louie” Zamperini who was taken prisoner in Japan during World War II, and follows his struggle to endure the difficult conditions.

A member of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association revealed that the movie would have made the shortlist in previous years due to “star power alone” but said the film wasn’t quite good enough to warrant a nomination this time. - BANG Showbiz
