Cape Town - The 5th edition of the Cape Town Festival of Beer, which took place from November 28 to 30, was a massive hit once again.
This year, the festival saw thousands of thirsty visitors sample over 200 individual beers from more than 60 different breweries.
Festival goers had the opportunity to taste and learn about great beer and sample delicious food while the kids were also thoroughly entertained.
One of the highlights of the festival was the celebrity boat race between Team Dan Nicholl and Team Ryan O Connor with the glory and award going to Team Nicholl!
The brewers who walked away with awards were:
Best micro brewed ale - Devil's Peak Kings Blockhouse IPA
Best macro brewed ale - Brewdog Jackhammer
Best micro brewed lager - CBC Pilsner
Best macro brewed lager - Pilsner Urquell
And grand prize of best beer overall on show - Devil's Peak Kings Blockhouse IPA
