It floats above the surface with a unique handle that bends underneath, where it forms a coaster to collect any drips.
Tigere Chiriga, 34, used to leave mug stains all over his house until he got the idea for the design from bananas hanging on a hook. The US-based post office worker and a friend, Dumi Ndlovu, who grew up together in Zimbabwe, attracted £25 000 (about R325 000) investment from a community funding website within days and are now selling the product for £22 online.
“It is going to change the way people think about mugs,” said Mr Ndlovu, 34, now a financial analyst living in Reading. - Daily Mail
