London - Ever since Disney’s classic 1955 film Lady And The Tramp, spaghetti and meatballs for two has been thought of as a romantic meal.

And now you can re-enact the charming scene thanks to the website Firebox, which has started selling Lovers’ Long Spaghetti.

Each strand is one metre long, and it comes in 500g (just over 1lb) packs. But at just under £10 (about R200) for 500g, it’s a little pricey.

The website claims that the pasta is the best way to entice “natural and spontaneous kissing’” or to “slowly reel them into an inescapable embrace”.

Unlike the Lady and the Tramp though, it’s not often we’ll eat from the same plate at the dinner table — especially on first dates. - Daily Mail
