The Western Cape took top honours in the annual Eat Out restaurant awards.

Of the top 10, three restaurants were from Gauteng, and the other seven were in and around Cape Town.

The Test Kitchen in Woodstock was named number 1, and Scot Kirton of La Colombe was named S.Pellegrino Chef of the Year.

 

The winners were announced at a Sunday lunch at SunExhibits Centre at GrandWest .

The judges who worked alongside Eat Out Editor and chief judge Abigail Donnelly to determine this year’s winners were Jackie Cameron, Benny Masekwameng and Siba Mtongana.
