London - Angelina Jolie has revealed she “loves” going through the early menopause brought on by having her ovaries and fallopian tubes removed.
The 40-year-old actress underwent the procedure this year to lower her ovarian cancer risk. She earlier had a double mastectomy after learning she had an 87 percent chance of developing breast cancer.
“I actually love being in menopause. I haven’t had a terrible reaction to it, so I’m very fortunate. I feel older, and I feel settled being older. I feel happy that I’ve grown up. I don’t want to be young again,” she told Australian newspaper supplement Sunday Style while promoting her new film, By The Sea.
