Public spitting.
Who are your favourite international and local actresses?
Annette Benning and Rolanda Marais.
What is the most adventurous thing you’ve done?
I think backpacking in South East Asia by myself for 3 months… and bungee jumping!
What makes you laugh?
Anything Kirsten Wiig does. I saw her drinking tea once…I nearly died…
When was the last time you cried and why?
I cried in the animated movie Home. I am a sucker for animated characters.
What fitness regime do you follow to keep in shape?
I enjoy outdoor activities, but mostly working out in the gym. If I am busy shooting on location, I usually go running. It’s a great way to explore the area too.
Name 3 things on your bucket list.
I want to see the Northern Lights, climb a live volcano and go to Tibet one day!
What do you love to do in your spare time?
I really enjoy watching movies. If I have enough time, I love to travel.
What is your favourite coffee hotspot?
I love Deluxe in Cape Town, my beginning and end!
What was the highlight of filming Ballade Vir ‘n Enkeling?
For me, being a part of this re-imagining of a classic, was a dream come true. Working with the industry’s best to being a part of a film which I believe has steered local film into a new direction.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
I see myself still working as an actor and building on my local and international career. But I would also love to write, direct and produce.
