That’s according to a French vineyard owner turned cosmetics mogul, who has converted a waste product into a goldmine.
Bertrand Thomas was on his family’s vineyard in Bordeaux when a visiting medical professor explained that the pips boast potent antioxidant properties.
Together with Thomas’s wife they launched Caudalie skincare, which turns 5 000 tons of pips into lotions each year, earning £123-million. It has now opened its first UK boutique, in London. - Daily Mail
