Durban - Walk the cities of Cape Town, Durban and Johannesburg, and it isn’t difficult to recognise the unique fashion styles of each one.

The Skip #MyFabulous campaign is a celebration of these different styles.

A young designer from each of the cities has been roped in to create a range that most aptly represents their city. The designers are S’bu Msimang (Durban), Rich Mnisi (Johannesburg) and Jenevieve Lyons (Cape Town).

Phase One of the campaign starts next month. Msimang will gather inspiration via Instagram to create 10 complete looks

When members of the public use the Durban hashtag – #MyFabulousDBN – and take part in Instawalks and weekly Instagram challenges, Msimang will be able to follow the images submitted and refer to them when she goes into production.

The project begins with Instawalks in all three cities. The instawalk in Durban starts on May 30 at 10am at the Skate Park on the beachfront.

The #MyFabulous ranges will be be revealed on August 13 at the Skip Fashion Exchange event in Johannesburg
