Rugged style for Defender XTech

Land Rover has released a special edition of its Defender 90 Hard Top and 110 Utility Wagon the models should reach South Africa by November this year, according to Land Rover. 

 

Designed to enhance the Defender’s rugged appeal, the XTech edition is available in one of two bespoke colours - Nara Bronze or Orkney Grey.

 

The colours contrast with a Santorini Black roof, wheel arches and headlight surrounds as well as black chequer plate along the bumper and sills.

 

This dark contrast continues with the 16-inch ‘saw tooth’ alloy wheels, which are finished in Gloss Black.

 

Inside, all XTech models have partial Ebony leather trim with contrast Lunar stitching and a central switch panel that matches the body colour of the vehicle. The XTech also comes with heated seats and windscreen as well as Electronic Traction Control.

 

As with the rest of the Defender range, the XTech is powered by a 2.2-litre turbodiesel engine credited with 90kW and 360Nm.
