Ingolsadt, Germany - The new Audi TT, just launched in South Africa, has been voted "the most popular car in Germany".
The sports coupé beat off competition from 46 other candidates according to the poll conducted by German motoring organisation ADAC.
After the Audi A6 in 2005, the TT is the second product from Ingolstadt to pick up the ADAC's "Yellow Angel" award.
About 220 000 readers of ADAC Motorwelt took part in the survey as well as visitors to the club's website.
