Aachen, Germany - Specialist BMW tuner AC Schnitzer has developed a series of upgrades and add-ons for the 4 Series Gran Coupé, under the generic title ACS 4 Gran Coupé.

And the numbers are quite impressive: Power output of the two-litre, turbodiesel 420d is up from 135 to 160kW, the straight-six 430d is uprated from 190 to 227kW, while the 435d delivers an extra 30kW, up to 265kW.

The 428i turbopetrol four now disposes of 216 kW (up from 180) while the straight-six 435i gets boosted from 225 to 265kW, thanks partly to an authoritative Schnitzer sports exhaust system with chromed tailpipes, that's available for all 4 Series Gran Coupé models.

Then there's the obligatory suspension lowering kit - in this case dropping the Gran Coupé 40mm closer to the tar, as well as a range of special rims in diameters from 18-20".

More bolt-on go-faster goodies include a Schnitzer front spoiler, carbon-fibre side-mirror housings, a new rear diffuser and modified side skirts, while the show car has also been tricked out with aluminium pedals, a leather-trimmed gear lever and special floor mats featuring the Schnitzer logo.
