Maranello, Italy - When Dario Benuzzi speaks, even the top brass at Ferrari listen.

A fixture at Maranello since 1969, the company's legendary test driver has directly influenced the development of every road car the company has built since the 246 Dino.

Arguably the most significant of those were the limited-production supercars, built to showcase new technology and styled for pure 'wow factor' - the F40, the F50, the Enzo and the LaFerrari.

In this unique retrospective, Benuzzi drives each of these milestone cars once more, at the same Fiorano test circuit - just across the road from the factory - where he pounded out lap after lap honing them to perfection.

Even Benuzzi is a little awed by this real-life time lapse sequence, as he relives the highlights of a lifetime career - more than 40 years of doing what any petrolhead would describe as the ultimate dream job.

Pump up the volume, sit back and let the maestro show you how it’s done.
