Dearborn, Michigan - Ford, with a little help from its friends, has tricked out two custom versions of the all-new 2015 F-150, as its entries for the "Hottest Truck" award at the Specialty Equipment Market Association tradeshow in Las Vegas from 4-7 November.

That award has been has been won by Ford F-Series trucks for the past four years on the trot, so these two very different trucks have big tyre-tracks to fill.

The street truck built by Formula Drift star Vaughn Gittin Junior boasts 300mm of King shock-controlled travel thanks to a Kibbetech custom suspension from Air Lift Performance, and individual Recaro seats for its five occupants.

The Deegan 38, by contrast, is a personal statement by Ford Racing's Brian Deegan, with a tweaked 3.5-litre, twin-turbo EcoBoost engine, and trick bits from Addictive Desert Designs, Mickey Thompson Tyres, Fox Racing Shocks and Rockford Fosgate - to blow your ears as well as your mind.
