Johannesburg - Lexus SA has updated three of the models in its local line-up - both cosmetically and technology-wise - to sweeten the pill of a price update.
The CT 200h premium hatch now has a reverse camera, cruise control, display audio with 10-speaker sound - replacing the previous small-screen, six-speaker system - a new rotary-style remote touch controller and rain-sensing wipers.
The ES sedan has been upspecced with a rear cross traffic alert function, which uses the blind spot monitor radar to detect vehicles approaching the difficult-to-see area behind the vehicle. When a vehicle is detected, it alerts you with a visual display in the door mirrors and a buzzer.
The IS compact sports sedan, meanwhile, gains a rear monitor and an upgraded audio system for the IS 350 E, along with LED foglights for E and EX variants.
