With a claimed consumption figure of 6.2 litres per 100km and carbon emissions of 144g/km, Nissan seemingly managed to combine efficiency with performance. Additionally the 1.6T also features a stop-start system to improve inner-city consumption.
The 1.2T Xtronic comes with a modest, yet familiar engine, developing 85kW and 165Nm. The engine is paired with Nissan's Xtronic variable transmission, giving customers with automatic preference more choice.
With efficiency to match the more powerful 1.6T, the Xtronic alternative has a claimed fuel consumption of 6.2 l/100 km and it has an Eco Mode to aid efficiency, making it a little easier to rest easy after Nhlanhla Nene's recent budget speech..
The 1.6T and 1.2T Xtronic are both equipped with alloy wheels, LED daytime running lights, keyless entry and push-button start, among other features.
A "Techno Pack" is available on both models and adds an around view monitor, heated door mirrors, NissanConnect and a navigation system to the Acenta's spec mix.
The entire Qashqai range is covered by a six-year/150 000km warranty as well as a five-year/90 000km service plan.
