Durban - 150 supercar owners descended on the city’s beachfront to take part in the IBV Supercar Club Charity Run on Sunday 21 September.
Their aim was to each take an orphaned or underprivileged child for a ride of a lifetime up the coast, to raise R1million for charities, the Sunflower Fund, Child Welfare and Unicef – and to set a Guinness World Record for the most money raised in a car parade.
It was mission accomplished on a perfect sunny day - 150 cars turned up, and the donation target was reached.
