Pretoria - Round six of the eight-leg SuperGP Champions Trophy, South Africa’s premier motorcycle racing series, will be run at Zwartkops Raceway this Saturday (13 September).

Clint Seller (Kawasaki ZX10R), the 2013 SA Superbike champion, leads the headlining SuperGP title chase for base-level evo rules litre-class machines with limited modifications with seven wins from 10 races.

His closest rivals are Lance Isaacs and Brent Harran on BMW S1000Rs, second and third respectively, each with a race win to his credit so far.

SUPER600

Steven Odendaal (Kawasaki ZX6R) has a firm grip on the supporting Super600 championship after claiming six wins and three runner-up finishes.

His chief pursuers are team-mate Matthew Scholtz, who won both races in Durban last time out and is second in the championship, and Dean Vos (Yamaha R6), who has five podiums to his credit and two runner-up finishes in rounds two and four.

Kyle Robinson (Kawasaki ZX10) heads the SuperM Challenge but was upstaged by Chris Leeson, SA Supersport champion in 2007 and runner-up to Clint Seller in last year’s SA Superbike series, in Durban with Leeson taking both wins with ease on his first appearance this season on a Kawasaki ZX10R.
