Dunsfold, Surrey - Amid the fallout from the Top Gear 'Patagonia Special' the BBC's bad boys are back in the studio working on Season 22 of the long-running money-spinner - although we did notice that Season 21 had only seven episodes.
Was that because Auntie Beeb was tightening the purse strings on the show's budget or did she get cold feet about some of the more outrageous footage shot for episodes we didn't get to see. Just asking.
Nevertheless, here's Top Gear's 75-second teaser for Season 22, entitled 'Stig's Gap Year Vacation'.

Some say he travels baggage class, that his passport says he was born on 31 April and that his rented Aventador is always parked in bay No.69.
All we know is that at some point in Season 22 we can expect to see him thrashing a Jaguar F-Type R Coupé around the perimeter circuit at Dunsfold Aerodrome in pouring rain.
