Rockmania, Rock Raceway in Brakpan comes alive with racing and drifting. Rockmania season-opener will see drifters from all over SA displaying their tyre-shredding skills around the 400m circuit. There will also be V8 action from the Outlaw Sprint cars and Lexus V8s, and a host of Oval Saloon Classes including the 1600 Stock Rods, Retro Rods, Pinto Classes and Super Saloons. Open wheelers will include the Ninja Kids In Racing SA ages 3 - 12, Micro Midgets, 125 Karts and Formula 2 Midgets. Straight-line racing fans will also be treated to some side-by-side action as the street drag racers take on the 1/8th mile strip. Gates open at 10am, racing starts at 3pm.
