Alamo, Nevada - When Hyundai heard that the daughter of a US astronaut was missing her father and wanted to send him a special message, the car company responded with a unique, and record-breaking publicity stunt.

Watch below as 11 Hyundai Genesis sedans deliver Stephanie's message to space by creating the “largest tyre track image” ever, as verified by Guinness World Records.

This automotive work of art was created on a dry lake in the Nevada desert.

Stephanie's father is currently working at Nasa's International Space Station.
