Tunis, Tunisia - Tunisian President Beji Caid Essibsi said Sunday that security forces were hunting for a third man involved in a deadly attack at the national museum in the capital four days ago.

“There were surely three aggressors because they were identified and caught on surveillance cameras,” Essibsi told French broadcaster iTele in an interview.

“Two were executed and one is on the run...He won't go far. I promise you,” he added.

The interview was held in the Bardo Museum, which was on Wednesday the target of an attack that left 20 foreign visitors dead. A Tunisian policeman was also killed.

Two of the assailants, identified as Tunisians, were killed in a firefight with police in the museum.

Essibsi admitted security flaws in securing the museum located next to parliament in Tunis.

At least 20 suspects have been detained in connection with the attack, the Interior Ministry said.

The ministry released a video showing two men armed with rifles briefly meeting a third inside the museum before they go in different directions.

The Islamic State extremist group has claimed responsibility for the deadliest attack in Tunisia in more than a decade.
