Los Angeles - A man returned his rental car with more than 60kg of marijuana inside near the airport in Albuquerque, New Mexico, the Albuquerque Journal reported on Wednesday.
Police said they found 61.7kg of “high-grade marijuana” in the car dropped off by David Ung, 40, the paper reported.
Ung returned the car, but then came back, saying he forgot a bag in the vehicle. By then, police had already found the piece of luggage that contained about 124 individually sealed smaller bags of marijuana, the report said, citing court documents.
Ung was charged with drug possession and intent to sell drugs and was held in jail with bond set at $10 000. - Sapa-dpa
