Johannesburg - Three people were killed and five others injured in a head-on collision in Soweto, Johannesburg paramedics said.
ER24 spokesperson Pieter Rossouw said the accident occurred near Dobsonville just off Main Reef Road on Tuesday evening.
“The collision involved a sedan and a bakkie,” he said.
Five people with injuries ranging from minor to serious were found at the scene.
The injured patients were transported by emergency medical services to nearby hospitals for further treatment.
Local authorities were on scene for further investigation.
