Johannesburg - A man was shot dead in Maboloka north of Brits for allegedly looting a shop, North West police said on Wednesday.
“A middle aged man was allegedly shot and killed by unknown foreign nationals yesterday (Tuesday) at 9.50pm in Newline section, Maboloka village,” said Colonel Sabata Mokgwabone.
“It appears that the suspects arrived at the victim's place and accused him of being responsible for looting at their shops. It is alleged that one of the suspects produced a firearm and shot the victim and fled the scene with a car,” he said.
A case of murder was opened and no arrest has been made.
