Bredasdorp - A bail hearing by one of the two men accused of killing Anene Booysen was postponed by the Bredasdorp Magistrate's Court on Tuesday.

Magistrate Graham Cupido said the application by Jonathan Davids, 22, would resume on Wednesday.

He and Johannes Kana, 21, are accused of raping, killing and mutilating Booysen on February 2.

Davids has pleaded not guilty to the Schedule Six offences. Kana has not yet pleaded and is expected to apply for bail at a later stage.

Booysen visited a pub in town on Friday, February 1. A few hours later, she was gang-raped and mutilated. She was found at a construction site and died later in hospital. - Sapa
