Johannesburg - Police arrested two suspects and recovered two vehicles after an armed gang of 15 men stormed a scrap metal dealership in Alexandra on Monday and robbed the owner of R80 000, said police spokesman Wayne Minnaar.

“A blue VW Polo and a green Uno were both stolen after about 15 men stormed a scrap metal dealer and robbed the owner at gunpoint of R80 000 in Alexandra,” he said.

Minnaar said the two suspects were being held at Bramley Police Station.

They would appear in the Wynberg Magistrate’s Court soon.
