Nelspruit - A policeman appeared in the Stilfontein Magistrate's Court on Wednesday for allegedly shooting and injuring his girlfriend, also a police officer, North West police said.
Ditiro Maano, 35, and his partner, 33, had a quarrel before the shooting in Strathvaal, Stilfontein, on Tuesday, Colonel Sabata Mokgwabone said.
Maano allegedly shot her several times. She is still in hospital.
The court case was postponed to next Wednesday.
