Pretoria - Police searching the home of Oscar Pistorius found testosterone and needles in a dresser in his bedroom, the Pretoria Magistrate’s Court heard on Tuesday.

Investigating officer Hilton Botha said the substance - banned by the International Olympic Committee - was found by police investigating the killing of Pistorius's girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp.

Police found boxes of testosterone and injection needles in the house of paralympian Oscar Pistorius after his girlfriend was shot dead, the Pretoria Magistrate's Court heard on Wednesday.

 

Investigating officer Hilton Botha said: "We found boxes of testosterone, needles and injections."
