Cape Town - Police in Grassy Park in Cape Town seized on a stash of Mandrax tablets during a raid on a house.
Provincial police spokesman Captain FC Van Wyk said Grassy Park crime information gatherers had received information that drugs were being sold outside a residence in Parkers walk, Parkwood.
“Upon arrival at the residence the members search outside and found 95 whole and 70 half Mandrax tablets in the garden of the premises. The drugs were handed in at Grassy Park SAPS.”
Grassy Park SAPS Station Commander Colonel Shawn Van Wyk commended the community members for supplying information about criminal activities inn their surroundings and urged the community to continue to be the eyes and ears of the police.
