King William’s Town - A man who assaulted and raped a 50-year-old woman less than a year ago was this week sentenced to life imprisonment, Eastern Cape police said on Friday.
“Maboyana Ndumiso was found guilty at Whittlesea Regional Court after he was charged for the rape of a 50-year-old victim who was sleeping alone in her house at Poplar Groove, Whittlesea during December 2014,” said police spokesperson Namhla Mdleleni.
“It is alleged that the suspect entered the house, assaulted the victim and raped her.”
