Rustenburg - An elderly man has been arrested for allegedly raping a nine-year-old girl outside Rustenburg, North West police said on Monday.
The man, 68, allegedly raped the girl in Monakato near Mogwase last week, said Colonel Sabata Mokgwabone.
“It is alleged that the girl went to her grandmother’s place to play with another child. She was allegedly raped there when the suspect called her… dragged her into the bedroom where he raped her,” said Colonel Sabata Mokgwabone. “The minor allegedly went home where she disclosed the incident to her mother.”
She was taken to the clinic where raped was confirmed and the man was later arrested, said Mokgwabone.
