Johannesburg - Four men were arrested in Kibler Park on Monday for allegedly handling stolen goods, Johannesburg metro police said.

The men were arrested in a joint operation with the SA Police Service, after officers received a tip off, said Chief Superintendent Wayne Minnaar.

“Officers caught the suspects red-handed offloading electrical appliances, worth between R800 000 and R1 million, into a storage facility.”

It was found that the appliances were taken from a truck that was hijacked in Alberton on Thursday.

The four would appear in the Johannesburg Magistrate's Court soon to face charges of truck hijacking and possession of stolen goods, Minnaar said.
