White River - A man was shot and killed at the Bundu Estate near White River, Mpumalanga police said on Wednesday.
Clive Anthony Bowers, 60, was murdered at his house on Tuesday, said Brigadier Selvy Mohlala.
“According to information, the elderly man was asleep with his companion when suddenly they heard some noise in the house,” said Mohlala.
The couple then saw a man in the house.
“It is alleged that the suspects sprayed the old man with a pepper spray and thereafter shot him dead,” said Mohlala.
The attackers fled with a television set and cellphones belonging to the couple.
No arrests had been made.
